^ I'm waiting for that up there. Two weeks from today.

It's been a year. 365 days to the date since I started this Xanga.

Life is really stressful right now. Really interesting... but really stressful.

No one uses Xanga, so it's not exactly fun anymore. I remember writing in this every day. And having everyone else writing in it every day. Now... not so much.

Sixteen days of school left..?

I've been neglecting this again. In a week or so I will have had this exact Xanga a year.

Not a lot going on, I guess. School has become stressful again. I want it to be that last week before finals when you can taste summer. I want my yearbook, too. That's always the most fun time of the year, I think.

Collingham seems to have it out for me. She's pointing out something I'm doing "wrong" every day now. First, I was doodling. Then I was putting a some lipgloss on, which completely qualified for "applying makeup during class." I mean, I guess technically it is, but it wasn't like I was planning on rolling out an entire cosmetics kit. It takes three seconds. I miss my first year class, I loved that class... mostly the people. Most of which have dropped.

Music-wise... My Chem is amazing. Download "Our Lady of Sorrows" if you get the chance, I think you'll like it. I've also been listening to The Clash. "Straight to Hell" if you like reggae. Great song. "Makedamnsure" by Taking Back Sunday, even though I don't usually like them. "Seether" by Veruca Salt. A lot, basically. And May-->  new Less Than Jake album. I'll have to obsess a bit more.

Random picture of my cat standing on top of our door...

I'm in a good mood right now.

This week is a week of great timings.

For one, we haven't had a snow day all year, and the minute spring break begins there's suddenly a foot on the ground. And then there's the fact that I'm sick and can't talk.

Now, both of these would translate as good if I were about forty or so. Get snow on the week off so you don't have to miss any school. Perfect. Get sick on the week off so you don't have to miss school, either. Great. Unfortunately, I'm sixteen, not forty, and both suck.

Last episode of Degrassi aired last night in Canada... I'm pretty sure they should have made it an hour-long episode, because everything important was condensed into about a minute when it should have been at least five. From the transcipt, the best line was probably, "You…you used me for my body." It seemed a bit strange.

I'm in a weird mood right now... I'm awake, but I don't really feel awake. I changed my layout, finally, even though I don't really like it. It's a change, at least.

Okay, so I can finally update. My computer has had problems again, so we got a couple new anti-virus programs on it. It seems to be working for now (key word.)

I just woke up about half an hour ago... that's the first time I've slept past nine in a while.

Yesterday was an interesting day. It didn't feel like an actual day. It didn't feel like a Friday, more like a Saturday. Anyway, first through third periods were boring as always. Mrs. Emery called on me to answer the question while I was trying to find my pencil in my backpack and then acted bitchy towards me when I couldn't tell her off the top of my head what she was looking for.

Lunch was interesting. Lots of mayonaise involved. And snorting... with the mayonaise. Not me in either case.

French was pretty much the most fun ever. Collingham was gone, we had a substitute who shared with us the one curse word he knew in French, and French-English dictionaries. Plus reminicing on last year in that class... which I miss.

Biology confused me. Oral Comm wasn't anything too great. It was a reading day in Navratil's. One-third of our class was on the AP field trip, including Valeri who I'm sure she missed a lot.

Anyway, afterwards we went to Best Buy. I got the Beastie Boys greatest hits CD because it's that cool. Then Target. I got 23 cent nail polish.

Then I came home, watched Instant Star and all of that. I've had a headache for four days.

Favorite Songs at the Moment:

  • Cash, Culture and Violence- Rancid
  • Off the Record- My Morning Jacket
  • Hate Me- Blue October
  • 105- Smashmouth
  • Rock Star- Hole
  • Joe Strummer- Cowboy Mouth (on my myspace)
  • No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn- Beastie Boys
  • Midlife Crisis- Faith No More
  • Crooked Teeth- Death Cab for Cutie
  • High Anxiety- Suicide Machines

Long entry... see you all later.

If any of you noticed that I wasn’t at school today… long story.

Last night I was making spaghetti, and I was pushing the noodles down with the spoon. Well, the spoon broke in half and sent about half of the boiling water onto my arm. Long story shorter, my mom called the doctor and she wanted me to stay home and go to an appointment today.

I managed some second degree burns… not fun. Tissue damage and everything. Blah.

Besides that, not a whole lot going on. I spent the day sleeping and listening to music. Pulley... The Clash is amazing.

I still don't have a for-sure topic for Oral Comm.

Typing isn't feeling too good... I'll see you all later.
